Transitioning to Junior High
Parent Quest -
Winter/Spring 2021
Starting junior high is a big and exciting step for WDMCS students! It’s also a big step for parents, as your student enters a new environment with a fresh set of challenges. In this class, Sarah Cooper, WDMCS junior high counselor, will answer your questions and share important tips to help your student succeed in their first year of junior high. Topics will include social/emotional health, academics, cultural awareness, and general WDMCS information. Please note: if schools are closed at the time of this class, it will be held virtually through Google Meets so a computer and wifi will be needed.
Please note: class will move online if necessary, and then participants will need a computer/mobile device and Wi-Fi. If this happens, the instructor will provide further information and a link to join the class virtually.
