Community Education's Adult Classes include educational opportunities for Parents, and Community Members.
Our Adventures program has engaging classes, fun teachers, and enriching experiences for K-8 students after school, in the evenings, and on the weekends. Our Winter/Spring Classes open 1-3-2023
Kids West provides safe, affordable, and convenient before-and-after school care for WDMCS children in grades K-6. In Kids West, kids can play, create crafts, learn new team games, and make friends across all ages.
ParentQuest provides a wide variety of free learning opportunities for parents and other caring adults as they navigate each child’s unique path to success in school and life.
This special class is just for incoming Kindergartners!
Students will learn about entrepreneurship firsthand through a variety of highly interactive classroom activities.

Jump Start is a fun-filled week of activities designed to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
New summer projects! A swimsuit coverup, mini messenger bag, ear bud case and your personalized sewer’s handbook. The {YEL!} Project Runway Sewing Camp follows four basic principles: •Teach It!…Students are taught multiple hand and machine sewing techniques; •Practice It!… Students practice those techniques on basic projects; •Sew It!…Students increase their skill and sew more complicated projects; •Own It!…Students showcase their projects on the last day of class (family and friends are invited), then take everything home with them to walk the runway of everyday life! Class led by YEL!
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to take the class you can request a refund before the second day of class. There will be a $25 deduction from any refunds except programs canceled by Community Ed.
Behavior Guidelines
Please remember that participation in Community Education programs is voluntary. Students are expected to act respectfully throughout their participation. Community Education reserves the right to remove a student from a program at any time if they display inappropriate or unsafe behaviors.
