    Registration Deadline

    A $25 late registration fee will be charged if you register less than one week before the program’s start date.

    Behavior Guidelines

    Please remember that participation in Community Education programs is voluntary. Students are expected to act respectfully throughout their participation. Community Education reserves the right to remove a student from a program at any time if they display inappropriate or unsafe behaviors.

    Cancellation Policy

    If you are unable to take the class you can request a refund before the second day of class. There will be a $25 deduction from any refunds except programs canceled by Community Ed.

    Scholarships

    Camp Champs

    Camp Champs is a parent pay summer program for students in special education entering grades 1st grade and up. Camp Champs is designed to provide reinforcement skills in academic and social areas. All of the sessions will have daily rotations, which include: language arts (reading/writing), math, and social skills. Students, along with peer role models, will also eat snack together, read aloud, and enjoy indoor/outdoor large group games. If you have not participated in Camp Champs previously please contact Katie Hoover at hooverk@wdmcs.org, prior to enrollment, to make sure your child is eligible for the program. Scholarships Scholarships are based on financial need and are available to assist WDMCS students with tuition for most programs.     Camp Champs

    Champ Citizens is a parent-pay summer program for special education students entering 7th grade and up, focused on job skills and employment. This hands-on camp includes job shadowing, interactive activities, and a community yard sale with The Hope Foundation to support Champ Camps! If you have not participated in Camp Champs previously please contact Katie Hoover at hooverk@wdmcs.org, prior to enrollment, to make sure your child is eligible for the program.     Camp Champs

    Champs Out and About is a parent-pay summer program for special education students entering 7th grade and up, focused on social skills and community engagement. Campers will get out and about on fun, interactive field trips, building relationships and life skills along the way! More details about the trips and exact times will be shared once they are finalized. If you have not participated in Camp Champs previously please contact Katie Hoover at hooverk@wdmcs.org, prior to enrollment, to make sure your child is eligible for the program.
