Brrr! When Iowa winter sets in with chilly winds and snow-covered fields, how do our local furred and feathered neighbors survive? In Winter Wildlife Explorers, young scientists embark on an exciting journey to discover how Iowa animals adapt to the cold! Through interactive songs, creative hands-on crafts, and fun science experiments, students will build foundational background knowledge in Earth science and animal biology while celebrating the beauty of an Iowa winter.
