Jump Start is a fun-filled week of activities designed to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
Safety Town is an educational program introducing safety awareness and preventative practices to young children.
Students participate in orchestra rehearsals, musicianship classes (including ear training and theory), and sectional rehearsals. This is an intensive study of orchestral music and listening skills, culminating with a concert on June 21. Program taught by Matt Meyer, Curtis Barr, Abby Hendricks, Michael Terrell, and Jeanne Caldwell.
Registration Deadline
A $25 late registration fee will be charged if you register less than one week before the program’s start date.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to take the class you can request a refund before the second day of class. There will be a $25 deduction from any refunds except programs canceled by Community Ed.
Behavior Guidelines
Please remember that participation in Community Education programs is voluntary. Students are expected to act respectfully throughout their participation. Community Education reserves the right to remove a student from a program at any time if they display inappropriate or unsafe behaviors.
