Woodworking is offered through our partnership with Youth Enrichment League (YEL). It is an exciting opportunity for any student who is into hand on activities and woodworking.

NOTE: Participants should be comfortable cutting using a small saw as well as using other hand tools. Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.

Behavior Guidelines

Please remember that participation in Community Education programs is voluntary. Students are expected to act respectfully throughout their participation. Community Education reserves the right to remove a student from a program at any time if they display inappropriate or unsafe behaviors.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to take the class you can request a refund before the second day of class. There will be a $25 deduction from any refunds except programs canceled by Community Ed.

  • Woodworking, Grades 4-7

    Build a paddle boat, a bird house, trophy stand and garden tote. Builders will learn to measure, cut, sand, paint and then take home each project they build. This Youth Enrichment League (YEL) class educates students on the use of basic tools (hammers, nails, screwdriver, measuring tape, t-square and more). SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY.
