Jump Start is a fun-filled week of activities designed to help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
Safety Town is an educational program introducing safety awareness and preventative practices to young children.
Take on the role of a Zoologist and explore an animal of your choice and learn about the lifestyle and habitat of that animal. Student Zoologists will be using kid-friendly websites, books, zoo watch cams from the Smithsonian's National Zoo website, and other popular zoos. Zoologists will collect data on the animal's behavior and create a graph to explain their data. Zoologists will create a poster that shares their learning to take home at the end of the week! Session taught by Sabrina Havig.
Registration Deadline: A $25 late registration fee will be charged if you register less than one week before the program’s start date.
If you are unable to take the class you can request a refund before the second day of class. There will be a $25 deduction from any refunds except programs canceled by Community Ed.
