    Designed to develop lineman skills and techniques to take your play to the next level. This camp will focus on the basic fundamentals of Offensive Line Play. We will coach safe and proper technique through drills for specific parts of the game including run blocking, pass protection and more. Competitions will be held throughout camp. Come ready to learn and focus on how to make yourself better both mentally and physically in reaching your full potential as an offensive lineman. Please bring Cleats/T-shirt / Shorts / Water Bottle.     Interested in acting, law, criminal justice, or just want to have fun? Join the mock trial camp! This camp is a one week opportunity to experience the world of mock trial before deciding whether or not to participate in middle/high school mock trial. This is also a great opportunity for previous mock trial participants to refine their skills! We will go through an actual mock trial case, learn about how mock trial works, prepare attorney/witness parts, and perform the case in front of a live audience!     For students entering grades 6-7 Safety Town volunteers assist young students as they are introduced to safety awareness and preventative practices through a variety of interactive activities. Volunteer Requirements You enjoy working with children. You are finishing fifth or sixth grade this year. You accept the responsibility of personally assisting four pre-kindergarten children during each day of the session for which you volunteer. You must be present every day. You attend a volunteer orientation meeting on Tuesday, May 7,from 4:45-5:15 p.m. in the gym at Jordan Creek Elementary, 4105 Fuller Road, West Des Moines.

    Take on the role of an astronaut and explore information about the planets in our solar system and details that make them special. Student astronauts will pick their favorite planet and create a poster to share all of what they learn about that planet. They will also explore information through kid-friendly research websites, books, etc. Throughout the week, student astronauts will be creating their own solar system craft to take home at the end of the week!
