Stilwell Summer Musical Intensive (SSMI) is a week-long program where students will be rehearsing to produce the musical, Beauty and The Beast, by the end of the week. Taking part in on-stage or behind-stage roles, students will learn what it takes to put on a show. All participating students will have a role in the show, though auditions will be held the week before camp for lead/speaking roles. Registration fees will cover admission to the performances and a cast t-shirt. This camp is offered for current 6th-8th grade students to help them with transitioning into and out of middle school. Our goal is to facilitate an environment rich in the arts where students can explore their interests and create friendships to aid them as they continue their academic careers. Registration fees include a cast t-shirt, free admission to the performances, costumes and a pre-performance dinner on Saturday June 7th. Program led by Sierra Coleman and Anthony Cravero.
Rehearsals for this camp will be from 11am-4pm daily, but call times for crew will differ on the day with what needs to be done in the terms of set, costumes, front of house, etc. Further communication will be relayed before the week of the camp.
