Safety Town is an educational program introducing safety awareness and preventative practices to young children.
LEGO® bricks are used to challenge every aspect of your child’s creativity and intellect while learning the basics of engineering and physics. Each class students are given a different project to build, test and modify. Then they use these projects to investigate basic engineering concepts. Emphasis is placed on hands-on experiential activities and kid friendly lesson plans. Join this dynamic exploration of machines and mechanisms today! Class led by YEL!
Registration Deadline
A $25 late registration fee will be charged if you register less than one week before the program’s start date.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to take the class you can request a refund before the second day of class. There will be a $25 deduction from any refunds except programs canceled by Community Ed.
Behavior Guidelines
Please remember that participation in Community Education programs is voluntary. Students are expected to act respectfully throughout their participation. Community Education reserves the right to remove a student from a program at any time if they display inappropriate or unsafe behaviors.
