    Deep Sea Adventures (AM), Grades 1-2

    Join us for a deep sea adventure! We'll go on imaginative underwater explorations to study the ocean and its incredible creatures. Each day, we'll dive into a variety of hands-on activities that will immerse us in the wonders of the sea. Session taught by JinHee Anderson.     Explore the Rainforest (PM), Grades 1-2

    Have you ever wondered what it's like to go to a rainforest? Join us to learn about the different types of rainforests, animals, plants, and what it would take to survive in a rainforest!     Junior Zoologist (PM), Grades 1-2

    Take on the role of a Zoologist and explore an animal of your choice and learn about the lifestyle and habitat of that animal. Student Zoologists will be using kid-friendly websites, books, zoo watch cams from the Smithsonian's National Zoo website, and other popular zoos. Zoologists will collect data on the animal's behavior and create a graph to explain their data. Zoologists will create a poster that shares their learning to take home at the end of the week!     Science of Sound (AM), Grades 3-5

    Welcome to the exciting world of sound! In this interactive course students will embark on a fascinating journey to understand the science behind sounds, pitch, volume, and vibration. Through hands-on experiments, engaging activities, and multimedia resources, students will explore the fundamental concepts of sound and its properties. Session taught by Alex Dvorak.   • Solar System Adventures (AM), Grades 1-2

    Take on the role of an astronaut and explore information about the planets in our solar system and details that make them special. Student astronauts will pick their favorite planet and create a poster to share all of what they learn about that planet. They will also explore information through kid-friendly research websites, books, etc. Throughout the week, student astronauts will be creating their own solar system craft to take home at the end of the week!     Water Filtration STEM (PM), Grades 3-5

    In this immersive course, students will embark on a hands-on adventure to understand the principles of water filtration, delve into engineering design processes, investigate, plan, create, improve, and evaluate their own water filtration systems. Students will learn about the different contaminants that can affect water quality and explore the impact of polluted water on ecosystems and human health. Session taught by Alex Dvorak.
