Throughout this course, financial information that drives your organization, as seen on the business’s reports, will be assessed and analyzed to understand it.   • Babysitter’s Training, Grades 5-10

    Students will learn how to provide care for infants and children, how to stay safe, what to do in an emergency, how to choose age-appropriate activities, and how to recognize and handle a variety of behaviors. Students will also learn the basics of starting a babysitting business. Students will engage in interactive modules featuring video, activities, games, and tools that babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills and manage their babysitting business. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate. Class led by American Red Cross certified Mallory Johnson.
  • Band Bash: 6th Grade Band Camp

    This one week, 2 hour/day program gives younger band students the chance to continue developing skills on their instrument over the summer. Students will practice songs as a full band, break up in groups based on instruments to get more focused attention, and enjoy other fun activities that will build community and teamwork.     This two-week program meets for one hour each day and gives instrumental music students the opportunity to develop their rhythmic skills, strengthen their tone and playing technique, and polish their music reading skills in preparation for the school year.
